Argyle Residential Home.
Its easy for us to say how good we are so here are some testimonials from resident’s family and friends:
Thank you so much for my unexpected Birthday Gift, it is very pretty and
i will enjoy wearing it very much.
I would like to express appreciation to all the staff for the care and kindness shown to my aunt, Dorothy.
Would you please pass on my thanks to everyone.
As you know Mum passed away peacefully yesterday and it was good to be with her to the end! I just want to know proud you should be of Trish, Katy and all the team at the Argyle for their care, compassion and love and professionalism, through mums 7 years or so with you even more so in the last few months, days and hours of her life!
The way mum and I were treated yesterday was so good that words cannot convey my thanks and emotion. Everyone showed so much love for mum in her final hours and compassion for me, that I was almost more emotional over that than my mum’s passing! What a wonderful staff you have there!
Just a brief Thank You for the dignity and respect shown to my mother, Olwen. By you and all your staff, during her stay at the Argyle.
It gave me and my family great peace of mind while she was in your care.
At my mothers request i have enclosed an amount, towards a staff meal at Christmas in appreciation
of their dedication.
Thanks for everything, I’ve given the staff some chocolates, you went the extra mile at the Argyle and that is credit to you all.
You’re a hard act to follow, the rooms are well appointed and communal areas are spotless, Mum was very well looked after,
I cannot praise the Argyle enough.
Please accept the enclosed amount in memory of my dear friend Margaret N.
I am so sorry it is late, I was away at the time and i am still catching up. You were all so kind and caring and we are grateful
that Margaret was well looked after.
With very best wishes and thanks
A special Thank You to Kayleigh who cared for me on the day Phyllis died. She was a great comfort to me.
Thank you all for looking after Phyllis so well, during her stay with you.
I am glad that she died at the Argyle, and not in a soul-less hospital ward.
Dear Ann and all the Staff On behalf of the family, I write to thank you for all the care and attention you gave Edith during her time at the Argyle, and especially over the last few months as she became more dependent. You increased the level of care and attention she needed so she could remain comfortable and able to do as much as wanted. Being able to stay at the Argyle meant a lot to her and us as she knew everyone and was settled.
Thank you to you all.
Anne and Family.
I cannot thank you enough for taking care of my Dad last month so that I was able to go away. I really did appreciate the break knowing that Dad was being well looked after. Dad appreciated your kindness too.
We want to thank you all at The Argyle who lovingly cared for Dad and treated him with so much dignity and respect, for all the support and help you gave us was just remarkable , above and beyond the call of duty. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble he couldnt have been in a nicer home. You all felt like family to him. He used to say the standards of everything in the home was like a 4 start hotel especially the food.

Thank you very much for all the care and support you gave to Mum, she always hoped not to go into a home, but she was very happy here.

My Mum settled in so well and you all cared for her so beautifully. I am having a memorial lunch for my Mum next week and will put some flowers on the grave from The Argyle remembering all the kindness you showed her
Allen and Krystyna Tickner.
I write to thank you and your staff for the care shown to my mother during her stay with you at The Argyle last year. Right from the start of her stay she was delighted with her room and the standard of care and friendliness of your staff were excellent. I would thank you too for your symnpathetic and efficient handling of her final hours when she was clearly failing and reaching the end. It was most re-assuring to know that Mother was happy and contented to be living with you and enjoying the last weeks of her life in comfort and safety
Just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for looking after Dad over the last nine months. He was made a comfortable as he could be and was very happy with the care you gave him. He loved to chat with you all but I think he got confused as to who was who as he said you all looked alike. I imagine he told you a few things you didnt know too. We will miss his stories of old times but we have a few to keep us going.

Thank you for all the care and friendship you gave to my mum, Pearl. She always said she loved living there and had many friends. From her family in Australia and here, this was a great comfort knowing she was safe and cared for. Thank you to all.
